Lagi-Lagi Kasus e-KTP, Keponakan Setnov Dituntut Penjara Selama 12 Tahun

Siaran Rakyat. Jakarta, Setya Novanto's nephew, Irvanto Hendra Pambudi was charged with 12 years in prison in a corruption case for the Electronic KTP (e-KTP) project. Irvanto's colleague, Made Oka Masagung was also charged with 12 years in prison by the public prosecutor in a hearing at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Tuesday (6/11).

Both are considered guilty as regulated and threatened with criminality in Article 3 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crime as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 concerning Amendment to Law Number 31 Year 1999 concerning Eradication of Juncto Corruption Article 55 paragraph (1) e 1 Criminal Code.

The Public Prosecutor stated that Irvanto Hendra Pambudi and Made Oka Masagung had been legally and convincingly proven according to the guilty law to jointly commit corruption.


In addition to a 12-year sentence, the prosecutor also asked the judge to impose a criminal penalty of 6 months in jail.


Irvanto's lawyer, Soesilo Ariwibowo objected to the prosecutor's demands. According to him, Irvanto was not the main actor in this case, only as a lawyer.

"Pak Irvanto's role as what was read just as an intermediary was very demanding." Soesilo said.

The Chief Judge invited Irvanto and Made Oka to submit a pledoi at the follow-up session which will be held on 21 November.
